Designer's Cut Demand Gauge


I'm elated at the all around positive response to Collapsed Lung! Being asked a couple times on further content, the main limitation was my attempts to adhere to keeping the content on a single A4 sheet of paper. There was a decent amount of ideas cut, be they fully formed or just in the concept phase: rules for playing as the Child of the Lung postmortem, seer advice on handling the discovery of a means of extracting the child, and more detailed stage symptoms are a few of the ideas that were never finished due to the lack of space.

To combat this, I've been considering a Collapsed Lung Designer's Cut, extending the current two pages to six (maybe more) and fleshing out ideas (with new art) that you guys might want more done up. The problem being, this is quite a bit of work and I do want to make sure there is even a real demand for doing more. If I'm going to spend this much time I'd prefer not to if it's just to fuel the curiosities of a couple of compatriots.

Right now my main gauge is going to be the download numbers (+ revenue) that the current version makes, and any comments on particular rules you'd like included. Feel free to comment here and share this project with people who you think would enjoy it. I wanted to do a monetary goal initially but you can't set those up for "pay what you want" projects.

It's a little difficult to go: Let's hit [X number] of downloads! mostly because you guys can't see the back-end analytics. So It's mostly going to be me checking and seeing if there is enough engagement. I'm not super used to shilling my things, but this was a fun project and I would enjoy doing more if there is an audience, but I'm fine just capping things here and waiting for next year's game jam.
